MASTER 2013 : Explore The World Through Brilliant Ideas

Today July 15th 2013, The wait is officially over! Malang High School Debate Tournament (abbreviated: MASTER) Ultimate Edition 2013 is now opened for registration. MASTER is a prestigious province-wide debate competition organized by Malang Debating Union since 2 Years ago. It's have been an annual event of MDU, as to show people about the real commitment of MDU in enhancing the debating skills around Malang and East Java students.

From several years ago, Malang and it's quality of debaters has become known both regionally and nationally. The achievements of debate, by Malang students are plenteous, in any level. Not to mentions its aggregate rapid growth of students forum that focused on debate is also wide spreading at several educational institutions of Malang. It create so many high quality tourneys of debate that joined by various students in all over Indonesia and one of them is MASTER by MDU.

To make sure the quality of this event, the Organizing Committee will please you with trustable top men A-Core and Invitees. The A-Core consist of wellknown national level adjudicators and debaters, Asdin Herzegovina from POLINEMA, M. Umar Pradhani from UM and Zelly Sidi Zamzami from UB.

MASTER also provide its champions by numerous joyful prizes.

Best Speaker will get 150K Fresh Monet, Certificate and Trophy.

Third Place will get IDR 500K Fresh Money, Certificate and Trophy.

Second Place will get IDR 750K Fresh Monet, Certificate and Trophy.

and The Champion will get IDR 1000K Fresh Money, Certificate , Trophy and

Special Golden Ticket to English Student Competition 2013.

MDU Charity 2013

Welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan, MDU held up a social event called MDU Charity 2013. This event took place at Darul Azhar Orphanage at Karangploso - Malang Regency , on fourth day of July 2013. The agenda started around 2 PM on that day, when several members of Malang Debating Union gathers in our assembly point, Gazebo FK UB. We directly went to Karangploso with motorcycles and arrived at Darul Azhar Orphanage after ashar. There, we're warmly welcome with the laughter and cheers voice of the orphans. 

According to the caregivers as also the founders of the foundation, there were about 40 orphans in that orphanage with various ages. But lots of them were still sat on the bench of kindergarten till elementary school. Severals also now studying at high school, both junior and senior level.

The kids were so happy when we're started to greet them, and divide them in to several groups. From that groups, MDUers and the orphans were collaborating to learn more about lots of stuffs, such as drawing, climbing and public speaking.

Those kids were so exuberant when they grab the drawing books and colors pencils. It is even more when they got the instructions to draw their future ambition of job on it. Soccer player, policemen, teachers and soldiers are common jobs that they want to.

After the drawing is over, they were asked to present their drawings in front and explains to all of their friends about their future dreams. The one whose brave enough will got a special prize from MDU. But at the end, every kid will got it anyway.

Ending the cheerful moment with them, we play mini games of SNAKES , creeping and walking around the orphanage together. In the corners, there're standing MDUers to spread out the prize for all of them. We sing while walk happily at that moment.

At the end of the visit, the President of Malang Debating Union 13/14 , Zelly Sidi Zamzami, handsover several books, stationary and clothings that we got from the charity to the Orphanage's Founders as the representative of the orphans. While Uyun Nishar, Chief Executive of this event said," We need the unfortunate to see how we've been so fortunate." MDU Charity have been a memorable social devotion moment of Malang Debaters. Proving how critical thinkers, really cares.
