" Establish a wide range debating community isn't an easy job. 3-5 years ago arised the idea to enact malang debate community, it sounds impossible. Every institution has their own interest overpower community interest. The idea grown after the success of 4 institutions (UB,UM,UMM,POLINEMA) form a joint committees to hold Malang Newbies Debate Competition in January 2012. As the first president of MDU I felt an intangible attachment with an entire member. It's the only place you can play, discuss, and work freely with your debate opponents. I consider them as friends or perhaps new family. I hope MDU keep it's consistency to proliferate malang debates. I expect to see MDU 10 or 20 years later ! "

It makes people change, from stranger and competitor to friend and family. I learned so many things about team work, loyalty and honesty. I also learned to be a better person.
