To stay around UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim campus, you can rent a dorm room which was plentious around campus, such in :

• Bunga Kertas Street, Bunga Cengkih and another Locations around the north and east side of campus. You can directly ask people there about to get a dorm room which is still available.
• MT Haryono Street, There are houses which rent student dorm room.
• D.I Panjaitan street , there're also available many boarding houses or rooms for rent.

Where To Eat

Many available places to eat around UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim campus. Cafeteria / food court for students is available in front of the campus also in Sumber Sari street.  You can find Java food, Padang food or other meals such as, Soto, Sate, Pecel, Meatball, Noodle Dumplings, Fried Chicken, Sea Food and Steak with student price rates. It is quite cheap and varied ranging from Rp. 3000 till Rp. 15000.

At night, you will find a lot of street food stalls, coffee shops, Internet Café, Lesehan Space that will pleased you with snacks and beverages. We guarantee that you will not starve there.
